Sharing the Passion*

Just imagine driving on the road....and suddenly you see a sexy Madonna/Kate Moss look alike in a mini lace dress with a bright red lips
...you slow down....
then you see a very colorful bubbly Dorothy carrying her red shoes looking lost
...you stop wanting to help her....but didn't...
and just as you were about to step on your accelerator...
you see two sizzling HOT chicks in a biker grunge rock clothes ready to destroy anything that comes their way...
you now get out of your car and witness this free breathtaking experience...

...if you were driving around rama9 road on a saturday morning you will be having the pleasure enjoying the view, because we definitely stopped cars last weeked...luckily no accident happened!!!
...so three sets with 2 beautiful models and pairing up with an amazing stylist, my friend natalie...
as my cousin marise said "sharing is loving".... so in this shoot i shared my passion in make-up and styling with nat...and it turned out really good cuz shes a rockin stylist!!watch out new yorkers, she's coming your way soon...
...so we had 2 weeks to prepare for our concepts and we got down to 2, "grunge rock and dorothy from wizard of oz"...as nat was busy making the clothes for the shoot, i was researching for references of make-up to match the styling...and i was so happy it turned out good!!!

i had to use so much black make-up on this shoot..and black eyeshadow has always been my frenemy in make-up..its sooo hard to use..becuz once it smears..u have to do the foundation all over again...but it looks very good in photos...
..i also stumbled this hair salon shop on my way to buying more make-up so i got myself the right tools to make bouffant hair!!!and it really works!!!
i love this shoot because i got time to experiment more with make-up and hair without worrying about the styling...thanks to nat... it's not often you get to work with a good stylist!!!
and i had 4 make-up changes in limited time and still it turned out alright...wooohoo...

so this is our work of art!!!

a pinch of pain...

because i love her...and i can't make her happy...- Chuck Bass

before this line was delivered on GG, i was already covering my mouth, afraid to let out a wail, and tears were on the rim of my eyes...
and then he said it..and I felt the pain of realization and tears just won't stop flowing out of my eyes...and after the episode I went to my room..and cried again...
...it's true..sometimes we tend to just jump into relationships because of what we feel for the person we love...thinking that it's all gonna work out...that eventually we'll all just figure it out...
"me and you" against the world"
but the brutal truth is..there are relationships that are really not meant to work...because of many things, may it be the different lives you bought have, or the culture you were brought up in, or the bad habits you can't stand, or both of your unwillingness to compromise, and the fact that no matter how you try you can't make each other happy...
but sometimes we just want to fight, we dive in, submerging ourselves in agony only realizing in the end that there is realli nothing to fight for...and that we're better off on our own, loving that somone on the sides, until we recover and find ourselves again....

and i just LOVE this moment C&B and her Marc Jacobs Joelle Scalloped dress....

The Queen* of our Hearts...

Belated Happy Mother's Day...to all mom's out there...especiall to my MOM!!!
i wanted this day to be very special for all moms and it was perfect timing since we had all moms gathered in our monthly church community assembly....What we did was write a personal letter to our mothers, then we prayed over them, gave them roses, and hugged them endlessly...I took loads of pics, i just had to document that moment and it's breathtaking to see children of all ages just hugging their moms, showing their love in their own way....

I know I don't say it often but I LOVE YOU MOM, all four of us do...and you just continue to make us all feel special everyday by having you in our lives
...we have the best mom in the world...what more can we ask for!!mwaaaaaaaah!!!

LIPSHTICK JUNGLE*

I am finally back in my world of styling and make-up, thanks for having the privilege of a godfather, who's a world renowned photographer...
...of course this shoot went to its usual process..thinking of themes and concepts, finding inspiration and references, SHOPPING, and the preparation time before the shoot...
the onli difference is, i got a chance to prepare, thanks to labor day holiday, i got to SHOP with my cousin Marise, (stylist/MUA and my partner in crime) glue my props and even sew my costumes!!!
...On this shoot I wanted something colorful and dark, so I chose a "Carribean" fruitdelicious inspired theme and my favorite mixture of black and white, a "Zebra" goddess...
...It feels good to once again ignite my passion for colors and make-up...
Here's how it went...enjoy the my art and wicked pictures from the master itself "Manny Librodo"...
